Service Technician
Type: Full Time
Location: Orlando, Florida
Outline
| Christie Lites needs a service technician in the Orlando, Florida shop. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing all types of lighting equipment to professional standards |
Duties
| Electrical and/or mechanical repair of moving lites, consoles, dimmers etc. Electronic repairs are limited to circuit board level. This will include troubleshooting and the replacement of stepper motors, dimmer flags, color flags, power supplies, and chassis components etc.

| Electrical and/or mechanical repair of conventional lighting fixtures. This will include troubleshooting, rewiring fixtures, replacing connectors, Varflex, sockets, and chassis components etc.
|
| Modification and upgrading of equipment to CL standards as specified in CL Technotes.
|
Desired Skills/Training
| Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
|
| Microsoft Office/PC skills
|
| The ability to work well under pressure and the ability to work flexible hours.
|
Reporting Structure
| The position holder will report to the VP of Technical in Vancouver, BC
|
| Wages negotiable depending on qualification. Paid medical benefits. |
