Michele brings over 12 years’ experience working as a Labor Coordinator in the live entertainment industry and now uses that experience to lead a sharp team of Labor Coordinators at Christie Lites. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications specializing in Broadcast Journalism.
When not working, Michele can likely be found with her husband watching live music and enjoying a beer at some of the great independent breweries around the country. Or even enjoying her own at home, where she recently started homebrewing to further enrich a passion she’s had for 15 years. She maintains a regular fitness routine combining Pilates Reformer classes, running, and HIIT workouts to keep the beer belly in check.

I come to Christie Lites with a wide background and experience that comes from handling virtually every position from customer service to sales to administration to travel in a small, growing family business.

As a former legal assistant who has actually conducted interviews with death-row inmates on death row, it’s pretty much impossible to top my stories. My passion for justice and the underserved goes beyond that—I started a local outreach to children of incarcerated parents and regularly volunteer with Give Kids the World, Coalition for the Homeless, and Hands on Orlando.

At the age of 18, Katie decided to make the entertainment business her career and moved to Orlando, Florida to gain a more in depth knowledge of the business. Here, she received her Associates of Science in Show Production and Touring, as well as her Bachelors of Science in Music Business. During her time at school, she continued working as an underground tour manager and public relations professional for Feeder Fish Records.

By the age of 20, Katie moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to pursue her career as a technician. Here she excelled quickly; holding positions such as head of A/V, lighting and audio operator at a popular Las Vegas dinner show on the strip and supervisor and safety coordinator. In 2014, at the age of 26, Katie decided it was time to take a break from the tech world and move into her current position as a Labor Coordinator for Christie Lites and couldn’t be happier.

In her spare time, Katie is a musician, attends shows, and likes to spend time at home or traveling with her family, friends and dog.
